Kazakhstan Railways and LocoTech-Signal signed a memorandum on the development of digital traffic control systems for rail transport

Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (Kazakhstan Railways, KTZ) and LocoTech-Signal (part of TMH) signed a memorandum on the development of technical solutions aimed at reducing the risk of injury and ensuring safe train traffic on the railways of Kazakhstan.

The document was signed within the framework of the International Railway Fare in the area 1520 "PRO // Motion.Expo" and will be valid for three years.

The parties consider their goal of cooperation is to develop technical solutions for remote video monitoring systems when train runs in reverse CTRL@VISION 100 WE and obstacle detection system with collision avoidance function CTRL@VISION 100.

The parties intend to create working groups, hold joint meetings, as well as carry out other activities that will be necessary for the implementation of joint tasks.

Based on the results of the interaction between the parties, it is planned to make trial operation of the CTRL@VISION 100 WE system at the pilot site. If the system confirms the declared security level, a decision will be made on further replicating the system on the network of Kazakhstan Railways.
