LocoTech-Signal has become a part of a UIRE (Union of Industries of Railway Equipment) working group for the development of a regulatory framework for automatic railway control systems.

The group will be developing a regulatory framework for measures for the implementation of automatic railway control systems in 2020–2022 (approved by Russian Railways Order No. 675/r of March 25, 2020).

Participation in this group is crucial for LocoTech-Signal as a developer and a center of competence for machine vision in mechanical engineering. The company will use the automatic transport control system standards developed with partners as the basis for their products, machine vision algorithms, and software for remote operation control taking into account the high requirements for transport safety.

The group includes representatives of Russian Railways, Transmashholding, Sinara Transport Machines, NIIAS, VNIIZhT, VNIKTI, MTZ Transmash, 2050.Digital, Key Systems and Components, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Oktyabr Production Association, INFOTRANS, NPO SAUT, and TMH Engineering.
