LocoTech-Signal is Russia’s First Company to be Certified for Modicon Safety by Schneider Electric

LocoTech-Signal (part of the Ctrl2GO group) is now a certified partner and integrator of solutions using industrial controllers with an increased level of safety for traffic control systems.

This was made possible by the company’s engineers successfully passing Modicon Safety examinations with Schneider Electric. The examinations tested their knowledge and skills in using Modicon M580 Safety controllers for creating safe control systems as well as the knowledge of basic functional safety standards such as IEC61580 and IEC62061.

LocoTech-Signal is Russia’s first company to be certified in two areas at once: Control System (building control systems using standard industrial controllers) and Modicon Safety (using industrial controllers with an increased level of safety).

Madiha Khalfi, Schneider Electric director for system integration, congratulated LocoTech-Signal on the certification, noting its significance, which proves the company’s outstanding technical competence and project implementation possibilities. “Being certified by Schneider Electric is another milestone that not only testifies to our team’s professionalism but also gives us a significant edge in building control systems based on widely available industry hardware components. This allows for much greater freedom for the end customer, flexibility in building control systems, and operation reliability,” said Andrey Romanchikov, General Director of LocoTech-Signal.
